Mikey Wax

Singer/songwriter Mikey Wax has signed to Toucan Cove / Universal Music Group. Wax, who self-released his debut album in 2009, initially found success when the music video for his song “In Case I Go Again” was featured on the YouTube homepage. He has since toured with acts such as Jon McLaughlin, Andy Grammer, Landon Pigg, Serena Ryder, Howie Day, and Elliott Yamin, among others. Wax has also continued to grow his fan base through a unique avenue of touring: performing over 200 house concerts in his fans own living rooms nation-wide. “There’s something very special about playing for fans so up close and personal. They’re able to connect to my music in a unique and memorable way,” says Mikey. “In Case I Go Again” was later featured in the 2012 Summer Olympics, and on the hit ABC Family show Pretty Little Liars in late 2013. Wax’s latest full-length release, Constant Motion, had charted at #47 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. The single “Counting On You” had received airplay on adult Top 40 radio stations, and helped Wax become the only unsigned artist on the US Mediabase HOT AC top-40 chart at the time. Soon after, “Counting On You” was featured on the FOX hit reality TV series So You Think You Can Dance as the show’s weekly elimination song, and was also placed in the movie trailer for the major motion picture Playing For Keeps. His new self-titled album, recorded with prominent Nashville producer brother/duo Ed & Scott Cash, will be released in June.
